Campaign Summary

This campaign comes to promote a culture of peace and reject violence against all segments of society, through impactful artistic and awareness-raising tools, including murals, theatrical performances, and intellectual lectures. It aims to reinforce the values of dialogue, human dignity, and social justice in Daraa Governorate.

Murals | May 28, 2025

First Mural – “Peace Begins Within”

This mural focused on spreading a culture of peace and tolerance, portraying symbols of coexistence, hope, and dialogue among community members, with visual messages encouraging peaceful conflict resolution.

Second Mural – “No to Violence Against Women”

This mural highlighted women’s rights and dignity, calling for the rejection of all forms of physical, psychological, and social violence against women, while emphasizing the role of society in protection and support.

Theatrical Performance | June 2, 2025

An impactful theatrical performance was presented, expressing the pains and struggles of Daraa Governorate. It showcased real-life stories of suffering, resilience, and hope, transforming these experiences into nonviolent messages that call for dialogue, tolerance, and building a future based on peace rather than conflict.

Intellectual Lecture

Lecturer: Dr. Mohammad Al-Ammar

Title: Why is Nonviolence a National and Political Necessity?

The lecture addressed the importance of nonviolence as a strategic choice for building a stable nation, strengthening social cohesion, and achieving political change through peaceful means. Dr. Al-Ammar emphasized that nonviolence is not weakness, but rather a moral and national strength that contributes to protecting society, reducing divisions, and building a state based on rights and justice.
