Campaign Name: Reflection Campaign | Mirrors of Nonviolence
Date: 30 August – 14 September 2025
Campaign Supervisors: Rebal Al-Ali, Noama Hassan, Rahaf Al-Ali
Location: Jableh City
Campaign Summary:
The “Reflection | Mirrors of Nonviolence” campaign was launched following a series of trainings conducted by the Syrian Nonviolence Group SULLAM in Jableh City. It was based on the use of mirrors and the concept of reflection as a visual and intellectual symbolism to convey messages expressing nonviolence as a conscious choice and a daily practice in both individual and community life.
The campaign focused on producing short videos created by the participants themselves, in which they expressed their ideas and experiences with nonviolence through art, writing, and drawing, in addition to sharing personal reflections derived from the trainings and creatively linking them to the concept of reflection.
Implementation Details:
The campaign was carried out in two phases: planning and implementation. The work began with a comprehensive meeting of the three training groups on 30/8/2025 in Jableh City, during which discussions and coordination took place in the presence of the training and supervision team. This was followed by a preparatory period during which idea sheets and proposals were developed.
The implementation phase took place over three days (12 – 13 – 14 / 9 / 2025), during which the proposed video scenarios were discussed and prepared for filming, in addition to conducting the filming process on the second and third days. The three days concluded with a cinematic event where a film promoting the culture of nonviolence was screened, followed by an extensive and constructive discussion with the participants.
